We chose this film as a part of our curricullum as it depicts the Indian independence movement in detail. As is said that pictures are equal to a thousand words, so we feel that the movie will help young impressionable minds understand the textual version given in their subject books with ease.

Most young children are unaware about the plethora of avenues open for them after boards, hence they end up taking subjects under the impression of either their parents or older siblings.Their strengths and weaknesses are overlooked in forming opinions. So  we had a week long workshop where we had 25 students from various school participating. We had a lot of games, tests and fun activities to evaluate their competencies. The events included creative writing, powerpoint presentation etc. We realized a lot of charecteristics of the students which their parents did not know as well. To put it briefly, the event was a great success.
