Centre setup To start with, you need an office (at least 800 sq ft but ideally 1200 to 1500 sqft), a dedicated telephone line, a PC with Internet connection, and access to a good classroom (own/rented) in a conveniently accessible locality.

The ideal ACE franchisee profile
• You are young. Preferably on the right side of 40.
• It would be great if the husband-wife team is keen on taking up this project.
• You are well-qualified. You have a degree/diploma in management from a premier institute in India.
• Being an Engineer would be an added advantage.
• You have been working with some company/enterprise for at least a couple of years. Alternatively, you had your
own business or were working in some family concern.
• You are extremely well informed about issues of major national interest. You read a lot regularly.
• You are a keen observer of life in all its colours.
• You have a clear commercial view of life but you understand that money is the means, not the end.
• You can inspire people (in this case, students). You are a good orator. Your background proves this.
• You have a good command over vocabulary and mathematics.
• You are a regular reader of national English dailies and magazines.
• You can slog consistently over several months.
• Basically, you are a well-rounded personality.
• You do not loose temper easily.
• You are mature and can see through things.
• You are computer savvy. You can comfortably run standard applications and have a reasonably good typing speed.
